Thermocouple Cables
Solid / Stranded conductors, PVC / Polyethylene insulated, Single pair / Multi pair, screened, PVC /
Polyethylene sheathed, Armoured / Unarmoured Thermocouple Cables.
These cables can be manufactured in different sizes as per customer's specific requirements or as per various National / International standards.
Details of some types of thermocouple cables which are commonly being manufactured by us are as follows:-

VX Copper Constanton Used for interconnecting Type 'K' Thermocouple as an alternative to Type 'K' material. These cables are used where the interconnection temperature is in the range of 0 to 80 Deg.C

JX Iron Constanton 0 to 750 BS:4937 (Part 4), ANSI:MC:96.1, DIN 43710, IEC-584

SX/RS Copper Copper -Nickel alloy 0 to 1450 BS:4937 (Part 4), ANSI:MC:96.1, DIN 43710, IEC-584


Insulation / sheathing material used are PVC, HR-PVC and Polyethylene as per customer's requirement.

Shielding material shall be as per customer's requirements. Some types of shielding materials used are given below:-
a) Aluminium-mylar tape screening along with drain wire of ATC.
b) Copper tape screening along with drain wire of ATC.
c) ABC / ATC wire braiding

Armouring material in case of armoured cables shall be of galvanised steel round wire/strip.

Cables can also be supplied with Flame Retardant (FR) or Flame Retardant Low Smoke (FRLS) or Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheathing compounds as per specific requirements of customer.
